Lodewijk Pincoffspassage

Rotterdam, the Netherlands

2025

Together with Husna Auqeley, I designed Lodewijk Pincoffspassage, a contemporary residential and commercial building in the south of Rotterdam. During the design process, we were guided by tutors from KAAN Architecten and KBnG architectuur as part of a second-year bachelors design studio at the Faculty of Architecture, TU Delft.

The project focuses on diversity in housing types, collective outdoor spaces, and a strong architectural language. Rounded corners and a transparent plinth encourage public interaction and daylight access, while the stepped volumes give the building a dynamic yet grounded presence. The presented content was developed individually.
